Short biog
Steve Hill, is course leader of the MA Multimedia Journalism course at Westminster University, London, UK. Prior to joining Westminster in 2015, he lectured at Southampton Solent University.
He has worked in technology and business journalism for over 20 years and has written for the Independent, Sunday Express, New Statesman, New Media Age and Web Designer magazine among many other print and online publications. He has also appeared as a pundit on the BBC News Channel, Sky News, ITN and numerous radio outlets and has written books about technology.
During the late 1990s and early 2000, he reported extensively on the dotcom boom and bust as senior editor at Internet Magazine at EMAP in London. He holds postgraduate qualifications in journalism, is a fellow of the HEA (Higher Education Academy) and is currently studying for a PhD. He also sits on the committee of the AJE (Association for Journalism Education).

Lecturer in journalism and runs modules focusing on multimedia journalism skills, news and feature writing and digital news production.
Guest lecture on MA Web Science at the University of Southampton. External examiner at University for the Creative Arts (UCA Farnham) and Leeds Beckett on their journalism courses.
