The Sun raises the paywall

The Sun is bringing up the paywall with the launch of Sun +. Having a non-porous paywall is certainly brave (foolish?) and will in one stroke kill their Google juice, social media recommendations and, presumably, banner advertising. 

What is less convincing (or sustainable) is the price – an introductory offer of just £1 for 2 months. Will it really be worth it?
